Myself and a few friends are driving up to toronto for the next Red Sox
series up there in May. We are all about 25 years old and love the sox, we
need some advice as to where to go out after the games. What bars are fun,
any good strip clubs, you know that sort of stuff.

We already have a suite in the Skydome reserved for the weekend, we will
probably watch the games from the room while kickin back some Labatts.
However from watching the game tonight and last night I am positive that if
we want to go inside the stadium to catch a game...tickets wont be a
problem.

I am starting to check out stuff that is in Toronto or near it...Hockey Hall
of Fame, Im sure I will check that out.

Any other suggestions?

Depending on the dates of the games, you could try to buy 3rd round
playoff tix for Leafs vs winner of Habs/Lightning series... :)

If you like heavy music go to the koolhaus, formally the zen bar on queen
street, they play white zombie, pantera, SOAD and the such.

If you like hiphop/reggae go to the joker, i've been there a few times when
my GF drags me and there isnt any troublethere and everyone is just out to
have a good time. Lots of hot women too.

If you are in to live bands check out the phoenix & kingdome.

For watching sports there's the thirsty moose which is directly accross from
the exhibition place just east of the skydome.

Hocky hall of fame is a must see its about a 6.00 cab ride if that from
skydome. THe toronto zoo is also a idea and you can get a go bus from union
station just next to the skydome right to it.

strip clubs - dont go to the brass rail, or zanzibar unless you have gold
cards, go to the landstrip by the airport or the whiskey.

There's a ton of stuff within a short walk of the 'dome. For conventional
drinking/fun, just walk up to the John Street/Queen Stree/King Street area.
Go play some video games and drink your ass off ay Vinnies. Strip clubs:
Yonge Street in the downtown core (as opposed to where it hits Michigan
about 2500km around the bend.

No problem at all. I'd be surprised if you have to pay for them.

What are you into? Since you'll have a car, I suggest getting out of the
city and check out cottage country (head north, you'll know when you see
it). If there's any chance May means near the May 2-4 weekend, you'd be in
for the real Canadian experience. Toronto's also got a great Zoo, which is
worth seeing, regardless of age. Not sure what else to suggest without
knowing your tastes. You can always get some e-bo's and hit a rave if
you're into cardiac arrest and whatnot.

Amazingly enough, speaking of the true Canadian experience, the May
2-4 weekend is actually on the May 24 weekend this year, as opposed to
some other odd day of the month so for once people won't just be
talking about their case of beer. Ohter than that I agree with Pawn,
there's plenty of shit to do in town, if you're just looking for booze
and strippers I'm sure you'll do fine walking up Yonge. If you're
looking for cocktails and crowded bars full of lovely women who you
have to charm first before they take their clothes off then try
College St. west of Bathurst. If you are looking for assholes, crack
whores, broken beer bottles, and drunken street fights you might try
Queen west of Dufferin in Parkdale or Queen east from Broadview to
Leslie. The college crowd can be found along Bloor between Spadina
and Yonge (the Madison and all that crap)...and I dunno, you'll
probably find what you're looking for if you look.

I was in Boston last year around this time and it was a great trip, so
I hope our town is as good to you.

cheers,

Adam.

You'd be better off buying a ticket to the game. You can pick up a ticket
pretty cheap from a scalper (especially if they're still not playing all
that well heh). The SkyDome Hotel rooms kinda suck for watching a game.
